The Goddess Commitment
By Skylar Larkyn 2024
I commit
To Myself
I will show up authentically and give myself the gift of time and space to heal and grow.
I will honor my voice and my own inner guidance.
I will refuse to play small and practice self-compassion as I shed fear, oppression, pain, and illusions of not being enough.
I will refrain from comparative thinking and self-criticism as it is a form of violence towards my true self.
I commit
To Others
I will hold space for another’s journey with love, compassion, and presence.
I will refuse gossip, in all its’ forms, as it is an act of violence that only serves to oppress. I will refuse this false elevation of myself at the cost of another. Instead, I will practice direct communication, and healthy ways to bond with others.
I will take ownership of my perceptions, projections, and judgements and work through them, knowing they represent unhealed or disowned aspects of myself.
I will reach in towards others to elevate, teach, and support, when asked. I will offer nothing without first seeking permission to do so.
I commit
To The
Collective Feminine
I will embrace learning and sharing and the richness that is our differences.
I will be willing to learn about other’s history and experiences with humility, interest, and presence.
I will honor that there are many names for and paths to The Divine, Creator, The Goddess, Source, Spirit etc.
I will NOT impose my beliefs or dogma on others.
I will honor the light in all of us.
I commit
To The Planet
I will make small and steady changes to have a softer footprint on the earth – she sustains us and is raging from mankind’s abuse.
I will give more than I take.
I will act as a steward of the planet, in simple ways that nurture and foster a greater connection to the natural world.
I will refuse depletion of my own inner resources and energy as an act of living with balance and modeling a more harmonious life.
I will become more conscious of what I put out in the world -in my thoughts, actions, words, and intentions.
I will embrace my role in bringing more peace, forgiveness, and love to the planet-doing so with healthy boundaries and self-honor.
